Distinct Angles and Angle Chains in Three Dimensions

In 1946 Erdős posed the distinct distance problem, asking for the minimum number of distinct distances determined by n points in the plane. This paper takes up the analogous question for angles in three dimensions, studying distinct angles and angle chains for point configurations in general position.
